After our recent involvement with Screen Illawarra, it’s perfect timing to celebrate the release of One Night on Paramount+ today! Filmed on the South Coast of NSW, CATO provided Traffic Management, Safety, Unit and Production Vehicle hire for the new six-part series.
An Australian mystery set 20 years in the past, One Night was produced by Easy Tiger Productions. Prior to One Night CATO have collaborated with Easy Tiger on other successful projects, such as Colin From Accounts, The Twelve and Doctor Doctor.

Last night, we celebrated the launch of Paramount+ Original One Night in the idyllic Illawarra at Headlands Hotel and Anita’s Theatre. It was only appropriate to have the launch event on the South Coast, as it formed such an atmospheric and important backdrop for the story.
One Night stars Nicole da Silva and Yael Stone were joined by media, actors, and influencers, such as Jeremy Lindsay Taylor, Nina Oyama, Charlotte Chimes and Sabrina Treffiletti.
Created and written by the award-winning Emily Ballou (The Slap, Taboo) and directed by Catherine Millar (The Twelve, The Secrets She Keeps) and Lisa Matthews (Doctor Doctor, The PM’s Daughter), One Night is the story of three women (Jodie Whittaker, Nicole da Silva and Yael Stone) whose bond was all but destroyed by the traumatic events of one night 20 years ago.
One Night is created and written by the award-winning Emily Ballou (The Slap, Taboo) and directed by Catherine Millar (The Twelve, The Secrets She Keeps) and Lisa Matthews (Doctor Doctor, The PM’s Daughter).
Major production investment from Screen Australia in association with Paramount+. Fifth Season is handling international sales.

The Illawarra has been one of the state’s top locations to shoot a film or series by one of the nation’s leading logistics and production support crew companies. CATO Location Services said the South Coast was up there along with Sydney CBD, Richmond, Broken Hill and the Blue Mountains as one of its “favourite locations to lock down”.
We’re excited to be working with the Easy Tiger Productions crew again after success on previous projects such as The Twelve and Colin From Accounts. With filming commencing for the upcoming Paramount+ series One Night, CATO are set to provide local support regionally in the Illawarra region.
The six part series is being directed by Catherine Millar, whom we worked with on The Twelve and The Secret She Keeps, as well as Lisa Matthews, our collaborator on Doctor Doctor and The PM’s Daughter.
