AUSFILM – February 2022: O MY POD: The new green room container pods.

In 2020 CATO Location Services’ Managing Director, Kieran Cato created the first O MY POD green room container pods in response to a shortage of green room trucks and demand for location facilities in Australia.

Created with the film industry in mind, the 20-foot pods are perfect for your next studio or backlot shoot and can be used for anything from a green room to a hair and makeup or wardrobe facility.  

Tailored towards high-end productions, the pods have been designed as contemporary, self-contained studio apartments. In order to ensure the highest level of convenience, each pod features a bathroom with a full-size shower, vanity and toilet as well as a make-up station, workspace and living area.

The interior of each pod has been beautifully decorated to create a warm, contemporary space that is both comfortable and private. Their design makes them a perfect multi-purpose space, and they can be transported to almost any location on the back of a truck.

CATO Location Services specialise in location resources for the film, TV, stills and events industries. As well as location vehicles, they’re experts in traffic management, security, Unit and COVID safety and cleaning, and work with productions shooting all around Australia.
