CATO Joins the (CCF) Civil Contractors Federation NSW

December 2024

CATO Location Services is proud to announce its membership with the Civil Contractors Federation (CCF), NSW’s peak representative body for the civil infrastructure industry.

The CCF is the only organisation in Australia dedicated exclusively to representing employers in the civil construction and maintenance industry. With over 2,000 members nationwide and close to 500 members in NSW, the federation provides a vital voice for businesses of all sizes, from sole traders to tier 1 multinationals.

Last Thursday, 5th December, our Construction Business Development Manager (BDM), Branka Gagic, joined our sister company, StreetStrong’s BDM, Philippe Lacroix, to proudly represent CATO at the CCF NSW State of the State Luncheon.

The sold-out event brought together a remarkable mix of civil industry professionals to reflect on 2024 and look ahead to the opportunities and challenges in 2025. Key moments included an economic analysis from Adrian Hart of Oxford Economics Australia, an engaging Contractor Panel Discussion featuring industry leaders, and an inspirational presentation by Kylie Yates outlining the federation’s advocacy initiatives and achievements. The event also celebrated John Wade’s prestigious recognition as a Life Member of the Civil Contractors Federation National—a testament to the dedication and excellence of those shaping our industry.

CCF NSW prides itself on representing a diverse membership base across the state, from roads, rail, mines, infrastructure, developments, airports and more. This inclusivity ensures that the federation remains focused on supporting the entire industry, free from conflicts of interest with other construction sectors. Joining CCF provides members access to advocacy, compliance support, networking opportunities, and tailored member services. The federation is renowned for its fearless representation of the industry, routinely consulted by government at all levels to provide informed insights and recommendations.

As a not-for-profit organisation governed by a constitution approved by Fair Work Australia, CCF’s commitment to the civil contracting industry is unwavering. By joining the CCF, CATO reinforces its dedication to supporting the civil construction sector. CATO Location Services aligns with the federation’s mission to advocate for innovation, collaboration, and excellence in infrastructure development. We ensure projects are managed efficiently through seamless Traffic Management Plans, Traffic Control, Security and CCTV systems for all projects with tailored solutions to meet industry needs.
