KIERAN CATO
Managing Director

— An expert problem solver and never without his phone, Kieran is always available to consult, troubleshoot and loves nothing more than a challenge.

Starting his career in the family construction and paving business, Kieran developed an in-depth understanding of the civil space before moving into the entertainment arena. Kieran then founded CATO Location Services in 2012.

Initially established to service the Film, TV and event industries CATO have since grown into one of the leading Traffic Management and Security companies in Sydney and since expanding. The expansion involves the establishment of the construction arm within the business, and later the successful launch of sister companies StreetSTRONG and O MY POD.

In 2020 he launched StreetSTRONG, a company specialising in road pavements and installations such as cycleways and decorative streetscapes and O MY POD, 

ANNA ROSA
Operations Manager

— Anna manages all of our business operations as well as the CATO client experience.

Anna is a proactive leader, adept at anticipating client needs and delivering strategic solutions with ongoing support. In her role as Operations Manager, she is second in charge to CATO’s Managing Director, providing invaluable support in driving the strategic direction of the business.

Starting with the business over three years ago in the role of Account Manager, she has managed many high-profile projects. For over two years she has been closely involved in managing logistics for one of the largest events in the southern hemisphere, City of Sydney’s New Year’s Eve celebrations. Anna’s expertise lies in liaising with councils and major stakeholders, ensuring seamless collaboration and communication. 

Anna has been instrumental in developing and implementing streamlined systems and processes, driving operational efficiency and excellence throughout the organisation. Anna oversees CATO’s ISO accreditation and compliance with safety standards, reflecting her commitment to upholding the highest quality and safety standards. With a background in leadership and client relationship management, Anna brings valuable expertise to her role, building strong, trusting relationships with clients. Her passion for excellence, and dedication to the continuous improvement of the business, contribute to CATO’s success and reputation for excellence in the industry.

GENEVIEVE HILTON
Finance & Payroll Manager

— Have a question about your account? Gen will help you find the answer.

In some cases, the client service team will direct you to Gen. Not your average accountant – we don’t call her Hurricane Hilton for nothing. Gen has over 25 years experience in business finance management and is across all of the projects which CATO services. She was also integral to the company’s acquisition of Climate Active Carbon Neutral status in 2022.

— Colette leads the employee experience at CATO. 

Colette is passionate about the essential and strategic role which people play in the success of CATO. Having worked across the globe, she brings experience from a variety of industries, including mining, fintech and retail. At CATO, Colette dedicates herself to ensuring a fulfilling and fun workplace for all.

Business Development Manager

— With extensive knowledge and experience in the construction sector, Branka will manage, develop and forge new paths for CATO construction

Having initially joined the industry as a Traffic Controller, Branka is heading up our Construction division as our Business Development Manager. Drawing on extensive experience managing Tier 1 and Tier 2 accounts during her time at Coates Hire, she brings to the role a wealth of knowledge and experience as an Account Manager. Branka is passionate about building a client-driven division at CATO, where clients know the reputation and seek out it’s expertise.

NICOLA ILLIADIS
Senior Account Manager

— Combining her first-hand experience in event volunteering and her love of arts and culture, Nicola manages the client relationships of the event accounts at CATO.

Her passion for live and community events, alongside an extensive history of experience in hospitality and customer service, will ensure your next event is managed seamlessly.

Kate Bennett, CATO Location Services newest Client Specialist, rounding out the team with Event, Film and Construction experience.

Account Manager

— Kate brings screen & media and Tier 1 project expertise to our client service team.

As our newest recruit within the client service team, Kate Joins us from Hobart with a degree in screen and media production. With prior experience in the events industry and having headed up Tier 1 construction projects, most notably the WestConnex, she is the perfect addition to the team.

CRAIG HUNTER
Traffic Manager & Planner

— Leaving engineering to join CATO during the early days, Craig has worked his way up the ranks over 10+ years with the business.

Craig works across both our traffic and unit departments as a Traffic Manager and Senior Unit Manager. Adding to his extensive knowledge and experience in the traffic space, Craig is also a qualified architect.

MICHAEL PARKER
Traffic Manager & Safety Supervisor

With CATO since 2014, Michael is an expert when it comes to all things traffic control.

In his role as Traffic Manager, he has drawn thousands of traffic guidance schemes over the years. Knowledgeable and highly organised, Michael is excellent at troubleshooting all traffic-related challenges. He is a WHS officer and now also works in the Safety space for Film, TV and Events.

KAT STEWART
Traffic Management Coordinator

— TGS whiz and traffic management pro.

Kat has over five years of traffic experience. She has worked on numerous large-scale and Tier-1 Construction Projects such as WestConnex. An expert at what she does, Kat is a highly skilled Traffic Manager out on the road and helps pull together many of our planning documents.

Operations & People Coordinator

— In charge of rostering across the traffic and security teams.

Aktan loves getting to know his teammates so he can best understand how to match the right person with the right job. Aktan also works across the logistics component.

BRODIE ARABI
Warehouse Logistics Manager

— Brodie oversees the CATO warehouse crew and is across all of our vehicles and equipment.

With his construction background as a landscaper by trade, Brodie joined CATO in 2020, and has been an integral part of the team as a WHS officer. Brodie executes and implements the most up to date ISO and WHS processes to ensure compliance. Having extensive knowledge and experience within the construction industry, Brodie has worked on large scale civil construction sites and John Holland projects. But it doesn’t stop there…he can also build tiny homes! Making him an invaluable asset to the team.

CEALAN ‘TIGER’ MACDONNELL
Marketing Manager

— The machine behind CATO’s branding and copy.

Affectionately known as Tiger, Cealan started with CATO five years ago as one of our youngest CATO employees. Beginning as one of our traffic controllers, she quickly climbed the ranks through to our marketing department where she now plays a crucial role in how the world sees CATO.
