On Sunday 8th September, CATO Location Services were thrilled to have provided their services for a major event with Fairfield City Council to celebrate Cabramatta’s 2024 Moon Festival with record-breaking attendance ascending on Cabramatta’s Town Centre.
Navigating multiple major road closures in Sydney’s South West, the CATO Crew’s objective was to facilitate a vibrant community celebration, with a primary focus on ensuring public safety and a smooth experience for all.
CATO Crew collaborated closely with NSW Police Force to oversee the Security Management, and crowd management of close to 100,000 attendees, including various members of parliament and the prestigious Lord Mayor of Sydney, Clover Moore, and Tiktok sensation Vincent Lim (@dimsimlim).
The team also partnered with partnered with Sheridan Consulting Group Pty Ltd to successfully deliver various risk assessments and an efficient security management plan.

We have experience working on events of all sizes, and have been involved with some of the biggest events and productions in Australia’s history. We’ve managed all traffic closures for the iconic City of Sydney and Northern Beaches NYE fireworks for multiple years. In 2023 we worked with North Sydney Council for the first time, successfully managing their New Year’s Eve celebrations also.
One of our most popular CATO services is providing Traffic Management Plans (TMPs), Road Occupancy Licences (ROLs) and Council Permits to our clients. We provide these services to Film and TV productions, Events and Civil projects intending to conduct work on the road.
